Chicken and Corn Cake




Tefi teaches us how to make a delicious Chicken Cake and Cream of Choclo. A convenient recipe to always have ready, in individual or large versions.

 

INGREDIENTS

·        For the mixture of Chicken:
·        1 onion
·        2 cloves of garlic
·        1/2 morron
·        1 chicken breast
·        2 leg / boneless thighs
·        1 cup of broth
·        Olive
·        Condiments to taste (Pepper, salt, cumin, nutmeg, curry, sweet paprika)
·        For the mix of Choclo:
·        3 green onions
·        Oliva c / n
·        1 tsp. of shortening
·        1 tbsp of cornstarch
·        150 ml. milk.
·        1 can of corn
·        50 ml. of milk cream
·        50 gr of grated cheese
·        Nutmeg
·        Salt and pepper
·        30 gr. of fresh cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

2.     Chop onion, garlic, red pepper
3.     Sauté in pot with olive
4.     Add breast and leg / thighs, cup broth and cook covered until "disarmed". It can be 2 hours in a common pot or 1 in a pressure cooker. If it is necessary to add broth but when the cooking is finished, it does not have to be soup-like although it is moist
5.     Crumble with forks if still needed and season to taste
6.     That chick goes to individual pots and up the other mix:
7.     Chop the green onion and sauté with olive and lard
8.     Add 1 tbsp of cornstarch and stir with wire whisk while adding milk while mixing
9.     When it is thick, add the corn.
10.  Add cream, grated cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
11.  Give a few touches with the mixer so that some whole grains remain and others more pure style.
12.  Bring to the casserole and top of the chicken
13.  Sprinkle with grated cream cheese and baked until browned.
